The ball mill is a key piece of equipment for milling materials after they have been crushed. This type of grinding machine is equipped with a certain number of steel mill balls as grinding media inside its cylinder.
Grinding media can be widely used in the production industries of cement, concrete products, new building materials, refractory materials, fertilizers, black and non-ferrous metal beneficiation, glass and ceramics, etc.
Grinding balls can be made by casting and forging.  For the casting grinding ball, the production processing was the liquid steel into metallic molds or sand molds after melting. The sand molds are used to make small-size balls & cylinders as Φ6- Φ40 mm; metallic molds are used to make large-size balls & cylinders as Φ40- Φ150 mm;
Now the large-size grinding ball manufacturing has two different kinds of production: one is casting by hand with a metallic mould, and the other is casting with Full automatic iron mould casting line.
The Full automatic metallic mold casting line advantage as:  High production efficiency, high output, minimal labor, uniform product appearance, and good product quality; production safety, better environmental protection.

The fully automatic metallic casting molds have high output ( 1- 10 tons per hour), and require a maximum of 10 workers. Production is safe & healthy and environmentally friendly.

This casting metallic mould useful life have 12-24 months.

Can be repair
The supplier can repair those iron mold with paid when the casting product shape & surface quality is not good. Buyer should send molds to supplier’s workshop and take them back by yourself.

Customized casting product size and shape
Supplier can follow customer’s requirements to make different sizes and shapes of casting product as:   Grinding ball (Sphere) / Grinding cylpebs ( Cylinder) / Grinding egg ( Ellipsoid) / Polyhedron Shape and other special customized shapes.

The company is equipped with 2 fully automatic iron mold sand coating production lines, 4 mechanical arm shell molding machines, 1 fully automatic lost foam mold production line, 1 fully automatic heat treatment quenching + reheat treatment production line, 2 automatic flipping annealing furnaces, 3 sets of VIP-1800 series melting furnaces, cabinet-type PRO spectrometer, carbon-sulfur analyzer, hardness tester, far-infrared temperature measuring instrument, etc. The production and testing equipment is complete and comprehensive. Temperature-controlled melting, constant-temperature pouring, automatic temperature-controlled quenching, and annealing have been achieved, and many technologies are at the forefront of the industry.

The product specifications are complete, meeting the needs of customers for different materials of cast balls, cast sections, ball mill liners, crusher guards, hammers, etc., ranging from Ф8mm to Ф150mm. The company now has an annual production capacity of 60,000 tons of cast balls and castings.
